How we transform lives

  • Scholarships and Grants

Since its inception, the foundation has promoted education through scholarships and grants to deserving and needy students. Currently, the foundation offers several grants including the K.C. Mahindra scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies Abroad, Mahindra Search for Talent Scholarship, K.C Mahindra UWC Scholarship, and the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship.

  • Livelihood Training

The Mahindra Pride Schools provide free livelihood training in hospitality, information technology and customer relationship management to students from the socially disadvantaged sections of society. Since the creation of the first Mahindra Pride School in 2007, the foundation has set up 4 more schools across India.Graduates of Mahindra Pride Schools have found employment and growth opportunities with several companies including McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, KFC, Le Meridien Hotel, Bajaj Allianz, HCL, TCS, Dell, and Cognizant.

  • Education for the Girl Child

Project Nanhi Kali was initiated in 1996 to provide primary education to underprivileged girl children in India. The project provides academic, material and social support that allows a girl child to access education, attend school with dignity and reduces the chances of her dropping out. Project Nanhi Kali partners with over 20 NGOs and implementation partners across India.

CSR has been basic to our philosophy since our birth in 1945. One cannot have a large section of the population denied even basic amenities like water, housing, health care, and education.
